Overall Objective:
The overall objective of the course is to familiarize students with water as a main source of storage and disease transmission to human.
Specific Objectives:
By the end of the course, students are expected to:
- Describe the sources of water pollution
- Explain about different pathogens and diseases transmitted through water.
- Describe the tests used to evaluate water quality
- Demonstrate the microbial tests of water quality and health control
- Describe the methods of water refinery
