Overall Objective:

Familiarization of students with the principles of nutritional sciences and their role in hygiene, health care and well-being of the society

·         Familiarization of students with the principles of nutritional sciences and their role in hygiene, health care and well-being of the society

·         Recognizing the role of nutrition in the prevention of chronic diseases

·         Familiarization with the principles of nutritional support in hospitals and diseases

Active class attendance

Student Evaluation Method:

1. Presence and absence: Class attendance is mandatory based on the circular issued by the Education Assistant of the faculty. Unjustified absence of more than 4 sessions will remove the course.

2. Final grade: Written final exam (19 points)/active class attendance (one point).

1. Krause's Food & the Nutrition Care Process, 2012, 13 Edition. Appropriate sources include the translated sections of the book by Dr. Farzad Shidfar, which must be studied for the final exam, with the exception of the following:
