Overall Objective:
The course provides an introduction to nutritional sciences and accurate, practical identification of energy-yielding nutrients.
Specific Objectives:
By the end of the course, students are expected to discern the principles of nutritional sciences and importance of energy-yielding nutrients.

Teaching Method:
Lectures, discussions, question-and-answer
Student Tasks and Responsibilities:
Active class attendance and participation, presenting lectures, preparing Farsi pamphlets
Student Evaluation Method:
Class activities constitute 8 points (2 points per each lecture, 2 points for one Farsi pamphlet per each lecture). For information, one simplified pamphlet sample will be prepared and sent.
Final exam constitutes 10 points, and 2 points is allocated to presence and absence in the class. In addition, electronic files of the mentioned books will be handed in the class by Dr. Razmpour.
