One of the main goals of the Department of Nutrition is to foster communication with other units and institutions in order to expand the educational and research activities of the professors and students. To this end, efforts were made to reach agreements with a number of institutions. Some examples are as follows:

 
  1. Agreement between the Research Center of Food Sciences and Department of Nutrition at the School of Medicine, with the purpose of achieving the predicted goals in the horizon of strategic plans within the framework of organizational food safety program to promote the health and welfare of the community
  1. Agreement between the Food and Drug Administration and Department of Nutrition at the School of Medicine, with the purpose of cooperation and participation in implementing the educational and research programs and services in line with the goals of the organization in order to create beneficial, mutual interactions between scientific and specialized centers.
  1. Agreement between the Institute of Food Science and Technology of ACECR and Department of Nutrition at the School of Medicine, with the purpose of common liaisons in research and conducting practical studies, as well as activities in the supervision of master’s degree and PhD candidates.

 

Efforts to reach the mentioned agreements have been continuously made by all the faculty members of the department during the past two years, which have resulted in the outstanding progress of the Department of Nutrition in terms of research and education, while facilitating interactions between the university and other institutions.
